Jessica Hubbard is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Supervisor throughout the state of North Carolina. Ms. Hubbard completed her undergraduate studies at North Carolina State University, where she received a Bachelor of Social Work degree with a minor in Women and Gender Studies. She completed her Master of Social Work coursework at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Ms. Hubbard has worked in the field of child maltreatment throughout her career, including as an investigator for child protective services and later transitioning into a clinical setting within a county Department of Social Services. She has also worked in a Children’s Advocacy setting as a Therapist and Clinical Supervisor.  Ms. Hubbard is certified and rostered in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Structured Psychotherapy for Adolescents Responding to Chronic Stress (SPARCS), and as an Adoption Competent Therapist.  She is also trained in Problematic Sexual Behaviors Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (PSB-CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Ms. Hubbard currently oversees a clinical program within a county Department of Social Services, where she provides clinical services to children involved with the child welfare system as well as clinical supervision and training. Additionally, she is a rostered provider for the state of North Carolina to complete Child/Family Evaluations and Clinical Assessments of Protective Parenting, and partners with the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as a Field Instructor for MSW students. Ms. Hubbard provides group and family PSB-CBT as part of the North Carolina Child Treatment Program Problematic Sexual Behavior team. She is currently pursuing becoming a Senior Leader trainer for PSB-CBT through University of Oklahoma’s training to continue supporting youth with problematic sexual behaviors in the state of North Carolina through an evidenced-based treatment model.
