Ericka Purcell, MS, LCMFT, is a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist and works in private practice for Kansas Mental Health Medicine. Ericka has been providing therapeutic services to children, teens, and adults since 2003. Ericka completed her Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy at Friends University in 2007, and her Bachelor of Music Education in Music Therapy at the University of Kansas in 2003. Ericka specializes in trauma-focused therapy and has worked the majority of her career in a Child Advocacy Center and Residential Treatment for children. She has experience working with child survivors of sexual and physical abuse, human trafficking, and children/adolescents with problematic sexual behavior.
Ericka is nationally certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT) and is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR). Ericka completed the Oklahoma University Health Science Center’s (OUHSC) Problematic Sexual Behavior Cognitive Behavior Therapy School Age Program (PSB-CBT-S) in 2018, became a Within Agency Trainer for PSB-CBT-S in 2021, and completed the PSB-CBT Adolescent training in 2025. She currently serves as a contracted consultant/clinical trainer for OUHSC’s PSB-CBT program.
