Trainer in Training

Catalina Perez, LICSW, is a bilingual Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in the state of Massachusetts. She holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from Simmons University. Since 2015, Catalina has been part of the Children’s Advocacy Center of Suffolk County in Boston, MA, where she began her work as a Family Advocate and now serves as the Director of the Mental Health & Advocacy Program.

Catalina is a Within-Agency Trainer in Problematic Sexual Behavior–Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (PSB-CBT) and is trained in both the school-age and preschool models. She has extensive experience in the field of trauma and has received training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Problematic Sexual Behavior–Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (PSB-CBT), and the Child and Family Traumatic Stress Intervention (CFTSI). She has delivered both PSB-CBT and CFTSI in clinical practice.

With a strong commitment to culturally responsive care, Catalina also has significant experience working with the Latino community in various clinical and advocacy roles.
