Senior Leader Facilitator Trainee

Christa M. Collier, MS, LSW, is a nonprofit leader and licensed social worker with three decades of experience advancing child advocacy, nonprofit development, and community-based services. She currently serves as the Director of Operations and Strategic Initiatives at the Massachusetts Children’s Alliance (MACA), where she is responsible for strengthening organizational systems, statewide programs, and strategic initiatives that advance and support the 12 Children’s Advocacy Centers.

Previously, Christa was the Executive Director of the Northern Berkshire United Way, where she led strategic planning, fund development, and community engagement. Her leadership extended to program development and grant writing during her tenure as Director of Berkshire County Kids’ Place Children’s Advocacy Center, where she secured over $400K in annual funding and built strong multi-sector partnerships.

Christa’s early career included significant work with the Gladys Allen Brigham Community Center and Girls Inc., where she served as both a local executive and national consultant in areas such as curriculum design, program evaluation, and leadership training.

In addition to her professional roles, Christa has been deeply involved in civic and policy initiatives, including serving on the Massachusetts Child Sexual Abuse Prevention Task Force and various advisory boards supporting children and families. She holds an M.S. in Communications and Information Management from Bay Path University, with a concentration in Nonprofit and Organizational Management, and a B.S. in Criminal Justice from Southern Vermont College.
